Lummis Day Festival 2015
As part of the annual Lummis Day Festival, artist Kelly Thompson installed a hanging piece titled 'Colony.' The piece, pictured below, represents both art and community as we are all part of an ant colony striving for a better NELA (North East Los Angeles). Kids who attended the festival also played with the piece while it was showcased in the garden.
